Recent work
Work in the last 3 years includes:
- Performance measurement and management systems for 11 NHS organisations (Trusts).
- Analysed implications of the NSF Information Strategies (above) for the National Programme for IT (NPfIT, now Connecting for Health). Brokered inclusion of NSF requirements in the NPfIT.
- Customer and stakeholder engagement strategy, implementing mechanisms & developing staff in an Arms Length Body. Customer satisfaction and performance monitoring & board reporting.
- Interim Partner Management; Managing the relationship with key stakeholder bodies (including Connecting for Health, the Healthcare Commission and the Department of Health) on behalf of the new Health & Social Care Information Centre. Analysis of requirements of the NHS (and the particular requirements of the stakeholders) from the new organisation.
- Development of the National Information Strategies to support the National Service Frameworks for Renal, Children and Maternity Services and Long Term Conditions.
- Led review of progress in implementing National Information Strategies for Older Persons, Diabetes, Mental Health & CHD.
- Assessed implications of the National Secondary Uses Service (SUS). Prepared content for the national road show (‘what Trusts need to know’).
